CNN Fail :: Plus Sized Model
It’s one of those failures that make you glad to be alive … it’s just hillarious.
Lane Bryant has a new line of lingerie, and they have a plus-sized model in the commercial, and the commercial is kind of risque.
ABC and FoxNews have decided they are not going to air it, but CNN’s HLN thought they would show it and bill it as an exclusive. The commercial is of the model in her bra and panties and she gets a text from “Dan” and it says, “come meet me” or something like that. She licks her lips, throws on an overcoat and heads out the door.
Evidently, there is already a YouTube spoof of this commercial … which CNN HLN didn’t spend time in looking at too closely b/c they evidently went to YouTube, ripped the spoof and aired it!!! However, in the spoof, it’s not Dan’s “come meet me” text -- the text says “the McRib is back!!”
By the way, if that is what is considered as “plus sized” then there’s something seriously wrong in the fashion world.
