Little Fockers

Posted by Fan Stop Central On September - 22 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Premiering December 22, 2010 - It has taken 10 years, two little Fockers with wife Pam (Teri Polo) and countless hurdles for Greg (Ben Stiller) to finally get “in” with his tightly wound father-in-law, Jack (Robert De Niro). When Greg and Pam’s entire clan - including Pam’s lovelorn ex, Kevin (Owen Wilson) - descends for the twins’ birthday party, Greg must prove to the skeptical Jack that he’s fully capable as the man of the house.

Little Fockers is an upcoming 2010 comedy film and a sequel to both Meet the Parents (2000) and Meet the Fockers (2004) starring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. It is the first film in the series not to be directed by Jay Roach and was instead directed by Paul Weitz. However, it was produced by Jay Roach. It was announced on August 24, 2010 that Dustin Hoffman will reprise his role as Greg’s father, Bernie Focker. In addition to the original cast, Little Fockers stars Jessica Alba, Laura Dern and Harvey Keitel.

After marrying Pam, the daughter of a retired CIA agent, Gaylord “Greg” Focker now has five-year old twins. The film will revolve around the couple trying to cope with raising their children.

Greg begins to go through a mid-life crisis as he ponders the rest of his life as his children come into play, he also begins to worry about being a good father and obtaining a stable job earning money for his family. This leads Jack to become highly suspicious once again about what is going on with Greg. This leads to a lot of suspense between the two and eventually leads to a fight between the two characters.

Dinner for Schmucks

How can you go wrong with a movie whose cast includes Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Jamain Clements, Jeff Dunham and many other funny guys?

Tim (Rudd) is a rising executive who “succeeds” in finding the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Carell), for his boss’ monthly event - a so-called “dinner for idiots” which offers certain advantages for the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.

The Tooth Fairy

Posted by Fan Stop Central On January - 4 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Dwayne Johnson is “The Tooth Fairy,” also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

I’ve followed Dwayne Johnson from Miami to WWE to The Rundown to Gridiron Gang and on. I think he’s now punched the golden ticket. He is one of the most likeable guys - I really like him, my wife really likes him and my kids really like him.

If you have kids who are losing teeth (like me) and you’re going through the whole tooth fairy thing, this has to be a movie you take your kid(s) to. Just looks like some good fun and a twist on the story of the tooth fairy.

Toy Story 3

Old or young. Boy or girl. Optimist or pessimist. Human or cartoon, you can’t help but like this franchise and now here comes the third installment.

Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college.

Though this may not be an Oscar dark-horse for best picture, it’s still going to make me, my wife and my two boys laugh.

It’s slated for 2010. Pencil it in now.
