I finally got to watch the St. Louis Cardinals last night for the first time this season.

Not bad.

Until Isringhausen threw 11-straight balls, walked the bases loaded then gave up a grand slam to give the hated, rival Chicago Cubs the lead in the bottom of the 8th, 7-4, only to go on to win 8-4.

Let’s just chalk this series sweep by the Cubs as early season rust removal.

Go redbirds! Oh, and to all you Cardinals (or baseball in general) fans out there … checkout the new Busch Stadium. It’s amazing! Just take a look at the re-aligned stadium with a cutout center field view of downtown St. Louis and the St. Louis Arch. Beatuy!
